Our Staff
Dale was born in upstate New York and volunteered in a local veterinary clinic while in high school. After moving to Florida, she worked from 1985 to 2004 at Vet I Care Animal Hospital, until she relocated to Springfield, MO and came to work for Dr. Weddle in 2008.
In her free time, she enjoys playing golf.
Whitney has been working at Wilson’s Creek Animal Hospital since March of 2009. She has 6 years of veterinary assistant experience. Whitney graduated from Missouri State University in 2008 with a BS in Animal Science. She has 2 dogs and 1 cat at home.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time outside and playing with her son.
Jessica has been working at Wilson’s Creek Animal Hospital since August of 2008. A graduate of Nixa High School, she has 4 years of experience working in a veterinary facility, and is currently attending Missouri State University’s Pre-Veterinary program and working toward her Bachelor’s degree in General Biology.
Between work and school, Jessica still loves to both read and write short fiction, and find time to have fun with her mom, dad, and little brother.
Dr. David Weddle was raised in Springfield, and attended the local public schools. Following 5 years as a U.S. Marine, he attended Missouri State University for his undergraduate coursework. He then attended the University of Missouri, graduating in 1997 with his DVM degree. He spent the next 11 years in various Midwest small animal general and emergency practices before opening Wilson’s Creek Animal Hospital in 2008.
When not at the hospital, he enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and bicycling around Southwest Missouri.
Sue has been with the clinic from the beginning. She is the clinic's practice manager. This is her first experience working in a veterinary clinic but not her first experience as a receptionist or business manager. She enjoys greeting the clients and their pets and tries to make their experience at Wilson’s Creek as pleasant as possible.
Outside the clinic she enjoys spending time with family, especially her two grandsons.
Meet Hiss and Spit. While Dr. Weddle pays the rent, these two are the real owners and mascots of Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital. They came to Wilson's Creek in the days following it's opening and have been here ever since.
When not supervising the clinic staff to ensure everything is done right, they love to spend their time greeting customers, napping in the sun, and bringing smiles to anyone who walks through the door.
Stacy has been working at Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital since April of 2011 as the clinic Receptionist. A native of Springfield, MO, she graduated from Kickapoo High School before coming to work for Wilson's Creek. While it is her first time working in a veterinary clinic, she has had experience working with cats and dogs through the PetSmart PetsHotel.
She has two adorable kittens of her own at home, and when she isn't working, she enjoys spending time outdoors. She is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient and volunteers with the Girl Scouts as a Ropes Course Facilitator.
Markus is the newest addition to Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital. A former service dog, Markus retired and came to Wilson's Creek in April of 2011.
Despite a few grey hairs, the only thing Markus likes better than getting his treats, is saying hello to everyone who stops in!
