Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment, although we will work in walk-in cases. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Walk-in cases that are not an emergency will be seen between scheduled appointments or be asked to drop off. We will see our scheduled patients first unless it is an emergency.

To keep appointments as close to on time as possible, please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment time, you will be asked to reschedule. Please call us if you are running late or unable to make it to your appointment.

Nail Trims are done by appointment only.

During an examination of your pet, we do request that you allow the clinic staff to restrain your pet. This is both for your safety and your pet's.

IF YOU CANNOT KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE CALL 24 HOURS AHEAD TO AVOID A "NO SHOW" FEE ($35.00 for appointments, $50.00 for surgery appointments).

Short on time?

For your convenience, 'drop-off' appointments are available for current clients. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to 'drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash and harness.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets.
